What’s the progress?
Been deeply into machine learning and AI in the last 1.5 years and started preparation for GRE in July 2021
It’s been almost 5 months since I started preparing for GRE. Since I am not a native speaker I joined classes that introduced me to how it is and how should I approach it.
The things which I’ve learned in this past few months are there is not really a proper guide
- ETS has their book which helps pretty well.
- lol no matter how many words you are gonna cram learn or speak there is always a new word in the test which is gonna be which you didn’t know where it came from so you will never know if whatever you are gonna learn is gonna be in exam or not
- it’s true that there are many publishers available who are having books on GRE but most of the reviews say actual exam content is different so it’s hard to decide what thing to refer
- though been solving manhattan 5lb and it’s giving me quite confidence
- GREG mat’s GRE vocab flashcards are really good to start if someone is willing to start preparing for vocab
The exam is pretty tough 3.5 hrs long for now I am just giving practice tests and forgot to mention that have my uni’s 5th sem exam on coming 22nd November so preparing for the same
will update here more about how things go in upcoming blogs stay tuned .. :)
Little info about me I am Somesh I am preparing for GRE and at the movement, I am studying Computer Science at Mumbai University. Besides preparing for GRE I am working on various competitions on Kaggle, learning new libraries for ML and AI, not to mention learning anything that I find interesting haha
